I just cant seem to understand why nobody else is posting around here.. I see the safe faithful posters everday trying to keep this board moving but it really doesnt seem to help.. I will not let this board go.. I will keep it going no matter what.. If this is going to be just for our benefit then so be it.. I dont want you to think I am giving up so, Lets try to put our heads together and see what we can make happen.. I also dont like the idea of scraping it and starting over.. So lets get some new ideas coming in here and see what we can make happen.. Thanks for letting me vent a little.. Safe shooting..

I'm all for anything to get this thing rolling good, but I just haven't got any ideas. I'll start brainstorming again (don't mind the smoke guys, it's normal), and see what I can come up with. Hopefully some of you smart guys out there can think of something.

Hard to say Z, We went through the same thing at COAR, We`had about 350-400 members at the time But, there was only about 8-10 of Us posting.
It took some time and a little patience. Now We have over 600, and about 50 -75 that post regularly. I'd be willing to bet that most boards out there only have a 10-15% of there registared members posting on a regular basis,The ones I stop by anyway.
All I can really say is hang in there, It'll happen.

You guys are just plain mean. No wonder nobody posts around here. Just look at how you make fun of Glockster. He can't help it he's that way.
Seriously though, I see qutie a few other member names popping up on the users list, and I would bet that most of the guests we have on are members that are not looged in. So how do we get them to talk, I'm not sure. I know I try to spread the word as much as I can about the site. The address is in my signature line on every other board that I'm a member of. If I find someone on line that I enjoy talking with, then I send them a personal invite. At my last range trip I handed out three proshooters cards and asked the guys to drop by our site. I also used to leave the cards at another range next to their register; Kraut was the one member that joined because of them.
I admit guys, that I have not had the time to really put into this place the way it need to be done. Hopefully I can do more in the near future to try to promote it. One idea that I had was to get a banner made and go to a pistol competition in Baton Rouge run by a personal freind of mine and sponser that nights shoot. I could pass out the cards and possibly provide the prizes or at least the 1st place prize that night. It's the monetary thing that has held this idea back. There are so many competions around here that we could spread the word at it's not funny. Just that most of them probably wouldn't want a PS banner put up unless something was in it for them.
